The dedication and drive of a care company employee has been honoured by business leaders in Milton Keynes.
Daria Drygas, 33, an employee of award winning neurological care provider PJ Care, has recently celebrated winning a prestigious Women Leaders MK award.
PJ Care Chief Operating Officer, Neil Russell said “We are extremely proud of Daria. As the company’s Procurement Officer she strives to keep our costs low, knowing that we can re-invest the savings to benefit our residents and our staff.”
Daria started working with specialist neurological care provider PJ Care in 2006 as a Care Assistant in Bluebirds, the company’s first care facility.
Over the years Daria has embarked on an ambitious personal development plan and is now responsible for PJ Care’s procurement function and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
Daria really impressed the judges with her “tenacious drive to excel in everything she does”
They commented “Daria has great potential to achieve improvements and innovation in the procurement disciplines having made savings of over half a million pounds for the company.
She is an extremely energetic and likeable person who wants to be the best at everything.”
Daria added “I can’t believe that I have won this award, to be recognised as a leader along with so many outstanding women in Milton Keynes, truly is a great honour.”
Daria was recognised for her excellence in the supply chain category of the inaugural Women Leaders MK award ceremony in November.
